"Academy-style" development of race drivers occurs when, under a single team ownership structure, operational responsibilities for a driver development program is under a single roof, Max Siegel's, Revolution Racing. Located in Easley, S.C., team began in 1999 by driver-owner Blair Addis, who grew up just miles from the Greenville-Pickens Speedway (GPS). Wins 2002 rookie of the year honors at GPS. Wins 2005 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series track championship at Greenville-Pickens Speedway. 2009 teams up with the Drive for Diversity program and driver Michael Cherry in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
